Rosacea
Rosacea is a common inflammatory skin condition that affects both men and women and usually begins at around the age of 30. Certain blood vessels, usually in the face can enlarge which can cause facial redness and in some extreme cases can result in small, red pustules. Rosacea can get worse if left untreated and it is often mistaken for acne or eczema.
Rosacea is a relapsing condition, meaning that there are periods when the symptoms are particularly severe, followed by periods when there are little or no symptoms. The condition typically appears as redness on the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead.
