Let’s look at how Venus Versa uses IPL with SmartPulse™

So, now that we’ve given you a brief introduction to Venus Versa, now it’s time to look at the three unique and highly effective technologies that go into it. This week we’ll be looking at Intense Pulsed Light, or IPL for short.

All IPL applicators include innovative SmartPulse™ technology to ensure precise and consistent energy is delivered through advanced pulse optimisation. It works by sending pulses of broad-spectrum light that are selectively filtered and delivered into the skin, where it’s then absorbed by target chromophores – parts of a molecule responsible for its colour – and transformed into therapeutic heat.

By using a real-time cooling system, it monitors the light guide temperature 1,000 times a second, so the treatment is effective and as comfortable as possible.
